Chambers
Privacy policy
Who we are
This policy is for the website of SN Law Chambers, Plot No. 33, Survey No. 874, Gandimaisamma Road, Medchal Check Post, Medchal, Telangana 501401, email contact@snlawchambers.in. It describes how the website handles personal data. It is not a substitute for professional confidentiality once a brief is accepted.
What we collect
Enquiries
If you use the contact form, we collect your name, telephone number, email address, subject, message, and your acknowledgement of this policy and the disclaimer. That information is used to consider and respond to the enquiry, to keep a record of what was asked, and to protect the chambers against misuse of the form.
Server logs
The hosting environment may record IP address, browser type, date and time, and the pages requested. Logs are used for security, diagnosis and abuse prevention.
Cookies
The site uses essential cookies needed for security on the private administration area. The public enquiry form is protected by origin checks, a honeypot field, and rate-limiting. If analytics is later enabled, a non-essential cookie may be used to understand which public pages are read. Analytics, if any, will not be a condition of reading the public pages.
Administration
Authorised users who sign in to the private area have account data processed for authentication and audit of edits. That area is not a public service.
Lawful purpose
We process enquiry data to take steps at your request before a professional relationship, to pursue the chambers’ legitimate interest in running a lawful practice, and to comply with professional and legal duties (including the duty not to assist crime).
Retention
Enquiry records are kept only as long as needed to respond, to maintain a conflicts check, and to meet any legal retention need — ordinarily not more than a modest number of years for an unanswered marketing-style enquiry, and longer if a brief follows or a dispute arises. Server logs are kept for a short operational period unless needed for security. There is no attempt to keep a permanent dossier of every visitor.
Security
Access to enquiry data is limited to authorised persons. The site uses encrypted transport (HTTPS), prepared database queries, password hashing for local accounts, and rate-limiting on the public form. No method of transmission or storage is perfect.
Third parties
Hosting, email delivery and, if enabled, analytics providers may process data as service providers. They are not given enquiry contents to use for their own marketing. This website does not sell personal data.
Independent maps linked from the contact page (for example Google Maps) are governed by those operators’ policies.
Your rights
Subject to Indian law, you may ask what enquiry data we hold about you, ask for correction of inaccurate contact details, or ask for deletion where we have no continuing need or duty to keep it. Send the request from the email address you used, to contact@snlawchambers.in. We may need to verify identity. Professional files, court papers and conflict records cannot always be deleted on request.
Children
The website is not directed at children. Do not submit a child’s personal data through the form unless you are the parent or guardian and the data is necessary for an enquiry.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The date of the current text is the page date on the website. Material changes will be reflected here.
